The next planning committee meeting is September 8th, 2024, 10:00 am at the Alano Club in Wasilla.
Each year we have many women that would benefit from attending The Alaska Advance for Women in Recovery but do not have the resources. Scholarships are helpful for women that may be currently in longterm treatment facilities or just getting back on track and could certainly use financial support to attend. If you would like to provide a full scholarship donation, 50% or any amount of your choosing click here.
Donations are accepted in any amount. We would be happy to provide you with our non-profit tax ID for your tax deductible donation today.
Please bring bedding and toiletries. Alaska weather is unpredictable so bring appropriate clothing and footwear. There is a common bathroom and shower area for everyone to use. In addition, a snack table will be in the kitchen area, so please bring a snack to contribute. Keep in mind that there will be approximately 85 in attendance. Please bring a little cash to contribute to the tip for the kitchen vounteers.
